Alexei Moskalenko is a graduate of the Moscow Bolshoi Ballet Academy and former dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet Grigorovich, later receiving a degree in Ballet Pedagogy and Choreography from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. After moving to the US, Mr. Moskalenko was a principal dancer and went on to open his own ballet school, becoming a celebrated national and international guest teacher. Mr. Moskalenko’s students have won the highest awards in international ballet competitions including Moscow IBC, Varna and YAGP. Having worked with YAGP since its founding as a Regional and International Judge, Master teacher and the NYC Rehearsal Director, Mr. Moskalenko was named YAGP’s Assistant Artistic Director in 2016.
