Anne-Cécile Morelle was hired at the age of 16 at the Ballet National de Marseille under the direction of ROLAND PETIT. In contact with this great choreographer, she learned and evolved by dancing the choreographer's repertoire. Roland Petit gradually gave her soloist roles. She then pursued a career as a soloist at the Béjart Ballet Lausanne under the direction of MAURICE BEJART. These two emblematic choreographers of the choreographic world gave her the opportunity to dance on the most prestigious international stages, notably at the Opéra National de Paris, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Fenice in Venice, and the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo....

She then ended her career after a quick return to the Ballet National de Marseille directed by Marie-Claude PIETRAGALLA, an opportunity for her to dance a varied repertoire ranging from PAULTAYLOR to BALANCHINE, VAN DANTZIG, RUI HORTA and BRUMACHON, among others...
