Carole Arbo was born in Biarritz in 1961. Her mother was a professional dancer at the Théatre de Lyon, before opening a dance class in Biarritz. She quickly realized her daughter’s predispositions to this art, and her parents decided to enroll her in the entrance exam to L’École de danse de Opera de Paris.
