Renee is coming for the first time in Romania at Revolve Dance, directly from Los Angeles, USA!
Born and raised in Seal Beach California, Renee Kester knew she wanted to be a professional dancer at the age of 12 years after a physical injury caused her to find a more appealing way to do sports. Renee was first trained in breakdancing by Hokuto Konishi and Ryan Conferido (now the Quest crew). She focused mainly on breakdancing and hip hop until the later exploration of modern and contemporary.
Shortly after graduation, she was recruited to the World Ballet Competition to be a Washington Ballet trainee. There she starred with the company in Balachine Ballet, "Stars and Stripes", Swan Lake, Cinderella and many others. After working with Washington Ballet, Renee entered Houston Ballet. She was the only dancer Stanton Welch hired outside the Houston ballet school.
Now, Renee is an independent choreographer! She danced and made choreographies for more music videos, live shows and commercials, including Prius, Nair, Lenovo or Timberland. She is highly acclaimed for her videos on YouTube and has been nominated for several awards, especially for her video and Phillip Chbeeb's "Slip," which they co-choreographed and filmed in a LA subway station.
