Nina Ivanovich was born on October 28, 1961 in the city of Turda (Romania). She graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Choreography in Leningrad.

From 1980-1982 she studied in Bucharest the "Rome-film" directing courses. In 1994 she graduated from Pedagogy at the Vaganova Ballet Academy (teachers: I.A.Trophimova, L.Ye. Goncharova, G.P.Konischev, N.N. Serebrennikov). Nina worked in the theater "Young Ballet" (1980-1986), Opera and Ballet "Opera Ateneum", Bucharest (1980-1986). She has a rich artistic activity as director, choreographer, educator and curator, but also as organizing manager. She was the artistic director of the Neva-Dance Theater Studio (1989-2001), curator, educator and director of the Art Center "Casa Verde, choreographic director of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera (2008-2010), performing choreography for shows such as" Tradition "," War and Peace "," Traditional Russian balls "(Moscow).
From '91 until now she has trained students such as: Ekaterina Osmolkina, Evgenia Obraztsova, Vladimir Shishov, Maria Yakovleva, Ekaterina Borchenko, Vladimir Shklyarov, Andrey Ermakov, Renata Shakirova, Ernest Latypov, as well as students preparing for contests (winners of "Youth, Skill, Present", Dresden) and all dance competitions in Russia. She currently teaches historical and character dance at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg.
